A Bit of LA

A couple of weeks ago, I was in Los Angeles for work. After finishing up what we needed to get done, we took the opportunity to make a stop at the Griffith Observatory in Griffith park. Earlier in the day, the sky had been pretty clear. Unfortuantely, by the time we were shooting, the haze had set in and obscured the views a bit. No worries, I still managed to get in a few decent shots.

Union Station

The other night, I met up with a few member of the Ogden Camera Club for a wander on 25th Street in O-Town. It was cold and snowy, but it was good to get out and shoot for a bit. I didn't come home with a ton of images, but did get a few I liked.

The Big Bang

Here's my final set of images from my recent high speed shoot.  Of the bunch, these are my favorites.
As always, this shoot was a lot of fun.  I've got a few things we need to try on the next round.

Motion

While traveling this week, I brought along the PowerShot S120 to try out. It's a great little camera with a lot of great features. It's pretty cool that it has full manual controls, including the ability to drag the shutter. I shot these out the back window of the terminal train at SEA-TAC.

Shattered - Two

Here's the second round of images from my recent high speed shoot.  This time it was ceramic figurines that met their demise as a result of a close encounter with a fire cracker.

Shattered

Earlier this week, I had a few of my employees in town for some meetings.  I figured they'd enjoy a bit of high-speed shooting.  So, we got together with my good friends Doug and Rusty and blew some stuff up.  Always a great time, that's for sure.

Here's the first round of images from the shoot.  These are Christmas Ornaments, shot with an air soft gun.

Accidentally deleted the previous post with these images, so here they are again.
