Water Rockets

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to spend a bunch of time with my family doing various activities.  Yesterday, we headed to the park and made and launched water rockets.  It was a lot of fun and we discovered that we have some decent rocket scientists in the family.

A Quick Trip to Farmington Bay

I recently had the new 100-400mm lens added to my collection so I felt like it was a good excuse to make a quick trip to Farmington to see what I could see.  If you live in Utah, you know that our weather has been a bit soggy for the past couple of weeks.  This day was no different.  I did manage to get out for a few minutes between downpours and captured a few good images.  I can't wait to spend more time with this fantastic lens!

For the next images, I added the 1.4x Teleconverter to give me a little more reach.

A Few From The Flower Garden

Spring is well under way and we're rapidly approaching summer.
That means the flowers are out. And, since the flowers are out, I figured I should take a couple of opportunities to spend some quality time with my macro lens.
