Lots going on in the flower garden these days. This set of images was shot using the 100-400mm lens. While it isn't a macro lens, it does a pretty decent job of getting in close.

Lightning
The other week, I actually managed to be in town when we had a fantastic storm roll through the valley. I was able to head out and catch the tail end of it. This was my favorite image from the night.

A Quick Trip to the Uintas
A few weeks back, a friend of mine was in town for a photography convention and had some free time to get out and shoot. So, I figured a trip up into the Uintas was the way to go. We made it up early enough to do a bit of exploring before settling in for sunset and then the Milky Way. It was a good time, and we came home with s handful of good images.
