I took these shots on a recent, early morning, drive near Hillspring, Alberta. I love early morning light and the tones it creates. I am intrigued by the different feel that is created by changing the point of view on the sprinkler line. In the first image, the highlights on the sprinkler help draw you in to the image. On the second shot, the silhouette caused by the strong back-lighting, helps reinforce the sunrise and morning light on the grass as the subject of the image.
These images were taken with the Canon 1D Mk IV and the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L.
