The other morning, I had the opportunity to shoot at the Sandy, UT Balloon Festival with one of my favorite photographers (you'll see her in a few of the images). For this shoot, I was able to borrow the new Canon 8-15mm f/4.0L Fisheye lens. That is a fun piece of glass to shoot with. I love the distortion and warped perspective that it creates. On a full-frame sensor, at 8mm, you will get images framed by a complete circle. Because I was shooting a cropped sensor, the widest images that you see here didn't quite get the full circle.
Images were created with the Canon 1D Mk IV and the Canon 8-15mm f/4.0L Fisheye lens.
