Climbing Baldy

Last weekend, while camping in the Uinta Mountains, we decided to make the trek up Bald Mountain.  From the trail head, it's 2 miles and a climb of about 1300 feet to the top.  Samantha, Pete, and I headed up together.  Michelle took it nice and slow with Rebecca.  We made it to the top along with my sister and two of her kids and two of my nephews.  While eating our lunch on top, we wondered if Becca and Michelle would make it.  Sure enough, as we were starting to head down, they were coming over the last ridge. Pretty impressive for a kid that has as many challenges as she does.  By the way, the view from the top is pretty fantastic.  At one point, you could see 36 lakes.

Images were created using the Canon 7D and the Canon 24-105mm f/4.0L IS lens.
