Cloud Gate
While traveling recently, I had the opportunity to spend a little time wandering in Chicago. Though I had been there before, this was the first time I had seen and photographed Cloud Gate. This thing is absolutely fascinating. I think I could easily spend an entire day shooting here. In fact, the changing light throughout the day would make for an incredibly interesting series.

Jump Off Canyon
While my brother was here, we decided to take a quick walk up Jump Off Canyon. The weather managed to cooperate, and the view was fantastic.
This is a composite of 4 separate images. The left and right halfs of the image were created using two images each with one being exposed for the sky and one for the foreground. The two halfs were then merged together.

Zion National Park
We made a shorter-than-planned trip to Zion National Park. The overcast skies made for tough lighting conditions.
Zion Canyon Shuttle Buses
We managed to be at Zion the day before the shuttle bus service started up for the season. It was fun to see the buses lined up, ready to go.
