Death Valley

The other week, I was in Las Vegas for work and had the opportunity to make a quick trip out to Death Valley.  We only had a couple of hours in the park, but it was well worth the drive.

A Quick Trip To Death Valley

Earlier this month, I was in Las Vegas for work.  I had been seeing a lot if images of the wild flowers in Death Valley.  Apparently, the really wet winter had made for an abundance of wild flowers this spring.  Well, we had an afternoon/evening to kill, so we made the 2.5 hour drive out to see what we could see.  Timing got us there as the sun was going down, so our window of opportunity was pretty limited.  It was well worth the trip.

While in Vegas recently for work, I had the opportunity to make a quick trip out to Death Valley.  This was my first visit there, and I can't wait to get back.  It is a truly amazing place.  We spent a couple of hours during sunrise at Mesquite Dunes.  I've always wanted to photograph dunes, and these were fantastic!
