The Marcusens

I don't do portraits very often, usually just for family.  That was the case the other week when my wife's sister and her family were in town.  We met up in the mountains to capture some family portraits for them.  Here's a few of my favorites.

Becca

This is Becca, she is our youngest.  The other day, we were sitting, waiting for some lessons to start.  I happened to have my camera with me, and there happened to be some good light, so I grabbed some shots of her.  When Becca is in front of the camera, she tends to get a bit goofy, so here's what I got.

I managed to get lucky and caught her off guard on this one, she didn't have time to pull a funny face.  This has been printed and is now hanging on the wall.

My Little Girl - Part One

I don't do a lot of people photography, it's just not my thing.  However, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do some senior portraits with my little girl. She thinks she is big enough to graduate from high school in a few weeks, I'm not so sure about that.

Because of the weather, we ended up splitting up the shoot into a couple of sessions.  It was a lot of fun and we came home with some pretty fantastic images (though I may be a bit biased).  Because there's so many of them, this is the first of two posts.
