I always enjoy watching the heavy horse event at the fair and this year was no exception. There was one big, or little, difference this year. They included younger kids competing with ponies.

Wild Horses
Utah is home to several herds of wild horses. The other day, we decided to take a wander to see if we could find some. We were successful.

Just Playing
The other morning, I joined a couple of friends to head out and spend a bit of time with some wild horses. It took us a little bit to find them, but in the end, we found them and had a great time. I've still got a ton of images to work through, but it's going to be a bit before I have time, so here's a few to get things started. These two youngsters had a good time pestering each other.

Weber County Sheriff's Mounted Posse
Last weekend, I shot the West Jordan Stampede and Rodeo. On the final night, the Weber County Sheriff's Mounted Posse performed.
If you haven't had a chance to see these guys, I suggest you do. They put on a pretty good show.
