After coming back to these a few times, I decided I needed to re-work them. Here they are. . . .

Sunrise
The other morning, I got up early and met a couple of friends to head up to the Snowbasin road to shoot the sunset.
It was a tad chilly, but the clouds and light cooperated for a pretty good show.
Canon 5D Mk II with the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L and Canon 70-200mm f.2.8L lenses.
Quilts
Spent a few minutes at a quilt show the other night.
Gotta love all the patterns, colors, and designs!

Clockworks
While enjoying Thanksgiving at my Mom's, I spent a few minutes with my macro lens and my Mom's Grandfather Clock.
I placed my flash in the base of the clock and fired it up through the clock using a wireless transmitter.
Images taken with Canon 5D Mk II and Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L and Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lenses. Also used Lumopro LP160 and Radiopopper JrX.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I have a lot of things to be grateful for today and every day. I have a wife that loves and supports me in all I do. I have four kids that mean the world to me. I have a job that pays the bills and keeps food on the table. I have the opportunity to spend some time in different areas of this beautiful country. I have a home that is filled with love and laughter and that keeps us warm and dry. I am surrounded by good neighbors, friends, and family. I get to spend time exploring this world through the viewfinder of my camera. For all of these things, I am truly grateful.
