Yesterday afternoon, I grabbed my favorite shooting buddy, threw some gear in the car and headed out on an overnight adventure. We wandered, fished, and took a few pictures. We had nothing on our agenda, but we sure had a good time. I've got piles of images to work through, but I think this may be one of my favorites.

Time Lapse Project
I'm just about done with my current time lapse project. Just a few finishing touches to work out. I hope to have it done in the next couple of days. For now, here's a couple of teaser frames.

Just For Fun
The other day, I decided to re-shoot a time lapse that I had shot from the windows at work. This time, I brought along the eMotimo PT to add a little motion to things. Oh, and I shot this one with my phone using the lapse it pro app. If you haven't checked out this Android app, you should. It does some pretty cool stuff and is dirt cheap. This video was shot and rendered using the app.

Smith and Moorehouse
We recently spent some time at Smith and Moorehouse reservoir, one of my favorite places.
I shot this panoramic image while shooting some time lapse footage.
This is a composite of 7 images, combined in CS5.

Butterflies
A few weeks ago, we spent some time camping and fishing. There were butterflies everywhere. One morning, the wind was blowing pretty hard. The poor butterflies had to hang on for dear life. This made them pretty easy for the kids to catch.

Awfully Quiet Around Here
Hey folks, I apologize for the lack of posting lately. It's been a busy few weeks with work and a family vacation. I've been working on a time lapse project and some computer issues have really slowed things down. Thanks for hanging in there, here's a frame from one of the sequences for my current project. I'll try to get a few more posted in the next few days.
