This afternoon, I had to shoot some things for work, so while I had my lights set up, I grabbed a few leaves from the yard and did a little shooting with the macro lens and extension tubes.  I got enough images that I need to split them into two posts.

Flowers in Black & White

The other afternoon, I took a quick wander around the neighborhood after the rain with my macro lens to capture some images of the rain drops on the flowers. For the most part, I like what I came home with and will post those images later. However, I started playing around with converting a few of them to black and white and really like what it did for a few of these.

While in Vegas recently for work, I had the opportunity to make a quick trip out to Death Valley.  This was my first visit there, and I can't wait to get back.  It is a truly amazing place.  We spent a couple of hours during sunrise at Mesquite Dunes.  I've always wanted to photograph dunes, and these were fantastic!

Painting in the Desert - Round Two

Got lucky this time around and was able to make a second trip out to the desert for a little more light painting.  This time there were three of us, myself and a couple of friends from Canon.  We had only planned on staying in this spot for a few minutes, but ended up being there all night.
