I'm a bit behind on posting images. It's been a busy few weeks. Last weekend, I had the opportunity to shoot senior portraits for my daughter (I need to post those as well). One of the locations we shot was out at Locomotive Springs. During a brief intermission while my daughter was changing, I switched to my 11-24mm lens and grabbed a couple of quick shots.

Car Bits
Last week, we spent a few days wandering Salt Lake, seeing what there was to see. One evening, we stumbled across a car show. It's hard to resist a good car show. As always, I'm drawn to the the details on these cool cars. This is the first round of images, there's more to come.

Some Flower Bits
This weekend, I had a couple of opportunities to wander Temple Square in Salt Lake City for a bit. This is a fantastic time of year to visit as the flower gardens are loaded with tulips, daffodils, and plenty of other flowers. It would be incredibly easy to spend a lot of hours there.

Old Trains
The other day, I was headed home from work and decided to make a quick stop at Union Station in Ogden. You see, I had just received the new EOS 80D and I wanted to give it a try. The old rains at the station are always good subject matter. I hadn't bothered to charge the battery, so I wasn't able to shoot for long. For the sake of shooting with something different, I was shooting with the EF-S 55-250 lens. This is an entry level telephoto zoom lens that I haven't spend much time with. I've gotta say, I'm impressed with the results.
