It's not every day that you get the opportunity to see a total lunar eclipse, it only happens every few years. Some friends and I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and headed out to Stansbury Island to take in the show. We made a night of it with some light painting, a campfire, and of course, the moon.

Last week, the Union Pacific Steam Engine No 844 made a stop in Ogden, Utah. I took the opportunity to spend a little time wandering around the engine with my camera. There were a ton of people that had the same idea, so I ended up focusing on the details. I think it worked out pretty well.
Images were created using the Canon 1D Mk IV and the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L lens.
A 12mm extension tube and Canon 580 EX II with and off-camera cable were also used for a few of the images.
