The other morning, I joined a couple of friends to head out and spend a bit of time with some wild horses. It took us a little bit to find them, but in the end, we found them and had a great time. I've still got a ton of images to work through, but it's going to be a bit before I have time, so here's a few to get things started. These two youngsters had a good time pestering each other.

A Few Stars
Another advantage of our new home: we are further from the light pollution of SLC and Ogden, so it doesn't take much to get far enough away to get in a few sots of the stars. This is about ten minutes from my house, shot the other night when my friend, Dale was in town.

A Few Of The Locals
One thing I've discovered about our new home is that we have a good collection of bugs. Lots and lots of bugs. I happen to have access to the Canon MP-E65 lens right now which allows me to get in really close. Oh man this is a lot of fun.

Old Iron
I'm finally getting around to posting these images. I shot these more than a month ago out at the Fielding Garr Ranch on Antelope Island. This is a collection of detail images, shot in the shade of the sheep barn. I tend to get drawn into places like this with lots of details to be found. I could shoot this kind of stuff any day. I thought about splitting this into two posts, but decided since I'm so far behind on posting that it is all going into one post. Enjoy.
