The Jupiter

Every year, for three days between Christmas and New Years, The Golden Spike National Monument hosts their annual Steam Festival.  During these three days, they bring out one of the engines and do a number of demonstration runs throughout each day.  Because it is cold out, the steam from the engines can be very dramatic.  Every year, I look forward to making the trip out to catch one of the demonstrations.  This year, it was the Jupiter's turn.  Since I've shot this event numerous times, I decided that I would take the opportunity to shot this one primarily with my infrared camera.  I'm glad I did, it made for some really great black and white images.
