Macro

Last week, I had the opportunity to play around with the Canon MP-E65 Macro lens.  If you aren't familiar with this lens, you should check it out.  It allows you to achieve up to 5x life size.  It's a lot of fun to take a deep look at ordinary objects.  When shooting with a lens like this, you need a good solid tripod, and a good amount of light.  I was using the Canon MT-24 EX twin light.  

These were all shot at 1/200 Sec - f/16 - ISO 100 - 65mm.  Some have been cropped, but only in one direction for improved composition.
