Over the past couple of weeks, I've been in Las Vegas and Phoenix for work. While there, I took a few opportunities to head out to the desert to do some painting with some of the guys on my team. The first trip out, we went out to Valley of Fire. We couldn't have asked for better conditions. There was about 5 days worth of a moon to give us some ambient light, and not a cloud in the sky. It was pretty fantastic.
Hi! Just wondering, how do you do the light painting effects in the third, fifth and sixth picture? I've seen it in a lot of places and I think it looks great :)
ReplyDeleteHi - the effects are created using some steel wool. I clip it to the end of a string, light it and spin it. You have to be very aware of your environment as it can very easily start a fire.
