Alaska - Part 1

Back in June, we spent a week in Ketchikan, Alaska with Sam.  It was an amazing trip.  We saw a lot of cool stuff, ate a lot of good food, and had a really great time.  I came home with a lot of images.  It is going to take several posts to get through all of them.  Here's the first set.

If you are ever in Ketchikan, eat at the Alaska Fish House.  Get the fish and chips, and the smoked salmon chowder.  You won't regret it.  We ate there multiple times.

Ketchikan is home to the world's largest collections of Totem Poles.  They are really cool.

When a Totem Pole gets too old to stand, they are placed on the ground where they are left to deteriorate and return to the earth.

It was fun to see these sea lions in random places enjoying some time in the sun.
