More Flower Bits

Last night, we were at my mom's place for dinner.  You may remember that you've seen images of my mom's flowers from time to time.  She grows some pretty fantastic flowers.  So, while we were there, I took advantage of the opportunity and gathered some flowers to shoot with the Canon MP-E65 Macro lens.  The more I shoot with this thing, the more I am amazed by the images that I am able to create.  I got so many great images that I will be splitting them up into three posts.  Here's the first round.

I have no idea what these flowers are, but they are really cool.  I love the hollow petals.

This one just begged to be converted to Black and White.

This shot is for a size reference.  This set of images all come from the pink and white flowers in the upper left and right corners of this group.  Note their size in relation to the penny.  By the way, none of these images have been cropped.  They were all shot at 5x life.  Oh, one other thing to note.  In my continued quest to prove a point, these images were all shot with the Rebel t5i.
